Vernon Gantry was founded in New York City in 2016 by two optometrists, Dr. Scott Tisdale and Dr. Pauline Leong. They know firsthand what makes a frame fit well and wear well, and they designed with that in mind.

Vintage Style, Modern Fit

The collections borrow from classic, vintage-inspired shapes and update them for today. Frames are hand-crafted from cellulose acetate and use sturdy three- to five-barrel stainless steel hinges.

Independent Practices Only

Vernon Gantry is sold only through independent eye care practices, so every pair can be properly fitted and adjusted by someone who knows your eyes. That is exactly how we like to work, too.
